why chinking? inside or out?
Sealing your home prevents airloss that creates condensation and mildew. All log homes need to be caulked to prevent unwanted heat loss. In time, the energy cost savings will pay for the upgrade.
how long does it take?
Each stage takes a week to two weeks. So, a complete refinishing takes 4-6 weeks depending on weather.
Will you Oil my house please?
I don’t spray oil because it fails often, and I can’t guarantee long term quality. It’s bad for mine and my employees health, and it’s bad for the environment, so no, I don’t…..
do you guarantee your work?
Yes, some conditions apply of course, (like the size of your eaves) but we absolutely guarantee our labor will be just what you asked for.
How much will it cost?
We bid by the square foot for refinishing and liner footage for caulking, with variables like topography of your lot, width of your logs, extent of damage to be removed etc. For a COMPLETE refinishing, usually a small cabin runs $7000-9,000 and up to $30,000+ for a large multi-story home
